# DiscountX: Stack Combine Popup

Applying a discount code correctly at the cart stage is critical to conversion and good customer service, and DiscountX handles it without asking customers to juggle multiple codes at checkout. Customers can enter several discount codes right in the cart or mini-cart, and the app combines them and sums the totals automatically, so the discount is already applied before they even reach checkout.

No custom development needed to get started: install the widget through the theme editor and set your rules, no coding required. For teams who want more control, the popup includes a built-in visual customizer for colors, text, and positioning, and advanced users can further restyle the cart form with optional Custom CSS and JS. Every promo code is validated with the same logic Shopify uses at checkout, so restrictions, eligibility, and totals stay accurate no matter how many codes a customer combines.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://discontx.arvest.digital/discountx-stack-combine-popup.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
